Jiayu International Trade (Dry Goods) City
Jiayu International Trade City is a large-scale wholesale market for dry and miscellaneous seafood, re-planned in 2004 by the Tengzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government. It covers an area of approximately 500 mu (approximately 33 hectares), with a building area of 500,000 square meters and 1,500 business operators, covering a business area of 200,000 square meters. The favorable business environment and preferential investment attraction policies of the Trade City have attracted a large number of merchants from other regions to settle in Tengzhou. Merchants from Northeast China, North China, Anhui, Fujian, Zhejiang, Henan, and other regions have come to Jiayu International Trade City to invest and operate, directly selling their local specialty products. In particular, there are over 300 direct sales operators of wood ear mushrooms from Northeast China, with an annual sales volume exceeding one million tons; the annual sales volume of Xinjiang red dates exceeds 10,000 tons. The market's sales network extends throughout China and to more than 10 countries and regions, including the United States, South Korea, and North Korea.
Cold Storage Introduction
To improve the market service system and meet the needs of market development, Jiayu Real Estate Company invested over 30 million yuan to build four large-scale refrigerated and cold storage warehouses within the Trade City. The cold storage warehouses have a total building area of 10,000 square meters and a storage capacity of 10,000 tons, mainly storing seafood, aquatic products, meat products, dry goods, and agricultural and sideline products.
The Trade City's 10,000-ton cold storage has established a cold chain logistics industry integrating processing, production, cold storage transportation, and sales. With its reasonable design, advanced equipment, complete facilities, convenient cargo access, and flexible operation methods, it complements the seafood city and is an ideal place for business operators to store and preserve their goods.
In 2009, Jiayu Trade City was named a "National Cold Chain Logistics Designated Enterprise."
