Sea cucumber belongs to invertebrate, echinoderma and sea cucumber class. There are more than 900 species in the world and about 140 species in China. China's sea cucumber is distributed in temperate and tropical areas. The temperate area is mainly in the yellow and Bohai sea areas. The main economic species is Stichopus japonicus, which is also the most well-known sea cucumber species in China. The tropical area is mainly in the coastal areas of Guangdong, Guangdong and Hainan, and the main economic species are plum ginseng. Sea cucumber is the "eight treasures" among all kinds of mountain and sea delicacies, and also has a variety of tonic and health preservation functions specially specified by traditional Chinese medicine. For nearly half a century, the research on more than 40 chemical components of sea cucumber by scholars at home and abroad shows that sea cucumber is not only rich in more than 50 nutritional components required by human body, such as amino acids, vitamins and chemical elements, but also contains a variety of bioactive substances, such as acidic mucopolysaccharide, saponin and collagen protein, and the pharmacological activities of sea cucumber active substances are very extensive.
